There was always something more I wanted to say and it was time to say it, instead of continuing to hide along with the voice I held mute for many a year. Being dark I always viewed the world differently. I found that I longed to be an artist however depth perception in only one eye wouldn't allow it so I discovered photographs then photography. I could take a photograph of the world the way I saw it and it became my way to share what I saw with others. There is nothing wrong with the dark and creative beauty that exists in all of us. We all have talent whether it be a single word upon a page or the stroke of a pen or brush. Never let anyone tell you not to be you, for you are all beautiful in every way to me. This journey has been long and hard and many times I have cried in the dark alone, but know that I am here and you are not alone. We exist to be different, artistic, and are important, all of us. If you feel or are alone know that I have been there and will be there for you, too.
